Project Takes a Turn

This morning the FAB team learned that their request for a grant, which would provide the bulk of the funds needed to begin the project, was turned down. Wanting to begin the club in September, they are in much need of funding and supplies as their duties include preparing the experiments for classes and refurbishing the garden to prepare it for planting.

Realizing that finding the funds necessary to begin the program would be difficult to fulfill, the FAB team has voted to start the lessons in the spring.

Instead of becoming discouraged, the team has found new excitement about finding ways to connect more with the community and advertise this project. They feel that knowing the community is the first step before asking for donations and starting the club.
