On October 22nd, Blake Academy held their annual Fall Festival in which school clubs, local businesses, and school partners advertise and communicate with the students and their families. There were fun games, snacks, crafts, prizes, and, of course, candy.
FSC ENACTUS held a booth to advertise the Little Farmers Project as a club to begin in the spring. We are hoping to get the materials and donations necessary before school begins again in January. At the Little Farmers booth, students were able to use their imagination to create their own garden using stickers and colored pencils. Students made pumpkin patches, strawberry bushes, drew barns next to their gardens, and more!
The children and their families were excited to hear about the club coming soon and seemed very interested. All in all, it was a fun day at Blake Academy. We hope to bring the same level of excitement when we start the club next semester.
